Pete Townsend wanted to follow Tommy with Lifehouse, another rock opera, but after two fruitless years and a near-suicidal breakdown, he gave up. Freed from thematic grandiosity, The Who took Lifehouse's rough material and made a hit-filled album that was plenty large.

In (dis)honor of the Detroit Lions who recently became the worst team of all time after an 0 and 16 season. I decided to create a list of other disastrous seasons in pro sports. Hopefully this can make the Lions (who I am actually a fan of) feel a little bit better about themselves, knowing that although they are the worst, they are not alone.

"What really makes this record work is the fact that Van Halen uses all this flash as a means to an end – driving the melody home – rather than as an end in itself. Every song hits harder than expected, until by album's end you're convinced that, despite all the bluster, Van Halen is one of the smartest, toughest bands in rock & roll. Believe me, that's no newspeak" - J.D. Considine

The 80's are cool..... Yes I said it, I think the 80's were great, and the more time that passes, the more we will look back highly on them (Okay may not the clothes and the style, but definitely the Movies). So here is a list of great 80's action's movies you should watch, with one unique twist to separate ours from the other endless lists of 80's movies out there. All these movies end with a climatic fight scene at some sort of factory/warehouse.
So get your Popcorn ready and enjoy these great films again or for the first time (sorry we spoiled the ending for you), that are 100% guaranteed not to suck.

"His debut, The Slim Shady LP, established Eminem as a major force in both hip-hop and broader contemporary culture, but there was still doubt as to whether he would be the latest in a string of short-lived white rap novelties. The Marshall Mathers LP raised the stakes, raised his profile, and damn near raised the dead."

"I can't say that Trent Reznor wrote an album that changed my life because of my ability to relate, but I can say that the album changed my life because of my inability to relate. It was like nothing I had ever heard before, yet wanted to hear again and again." - Treble

I'm not sure if I want to say this, but listening to this album for the first time while reading along the lyrics reminded me of how I felt when I first listened to Nirvana's Nevermind. Jack White is a good songwriter. He is an interesting singer and uninhibited guitarist and I'm sure even drummer Meg White thinks the same when cozying down in revelry at her current musical position.
